I got my dreads done today, which i am really happy about but am afraid they are going to unravel. I used the twisting method (i am black) and Organic ROOT Stimulator Lock & Twist Gel, does anyone have any tips or help for me and my hair that can be really usefull, i would really hate to go through the whole process agian.

Oh yea they sort of look like twist now if that is of any use.

  1. All you have to do is keep your hands out of your head.  I had traditional locks for a while and I didn't l like the initial stage and how they looked.  So I took them out put them in and took them out again and then got sisterlocks now for almost 4 years.  Tie your head at night to eliminate getting lint and just go to get your hair done at the recommended intervals.  You should be fine, after six months you should be well on your way.  The first initial months will be a challenge, but with the right discipline you should be fine.  KEEP YOUR HANDS out of your HAIR :-)
