New Mini Cooper Alarm wont work! ?

Question

I just bought my new mini about 2 months ago, and recently, the red LED is not flashing when i set the alarm: (just pressing lock) to test it, i sat inside the car, locked it with key, then made sure all windows closed. I opened car from inside, which should set alarm off, NOTHING happened. Please help!!

I would guess that because you were already in the car when you activated the alarm, that info was noted by the alarm computer.

If in doubt, take it to the dealer.  Free warranty fix.
