  1. Subaru Forester.

Reliable, safe, great handling with AllWheelDrive, TONS of room and space for cargo with good gas mileage (~28 on the highway)

versatility of an SUV with the fuel economy of a car.

  2. honda civic, small pickup truck, or smart car

  3. Well i got a toyata camry 1996 model for $2300 and im 18 which is quite cheap!! with no catches and its going strong so i'd suggest going on ebay and narrowing down the search to around your local area to check out a cheap car! auctions are the best to get them!! and never buy from a car yard!! my friend paid $10000 for a 1988 subaru brumby that did nearly clcoked up the speedometer!!

If you want a car that is quite a fuel effiecient! i suggest something like a toyota corolla!! take your time because the right car will pop up but i still suggest you look on ebay as you can choose your price range, living area, and even the age of your car and you'll find one!!! ask a macanic and they'll suggest a car that is fuel efficient and hardly breaks down!

    Sorry im rambling now! lol

    GOOD LUCK in your search!!

  4. honda civic hachback maybe a 3door

or a vw golf (if you have the money for one of them)

don't get a big car coz you arn't fully aware of the blindspots yet

i personally belive hachbacks are perfect for first time drivers as you quickly learn how far back your car is when reversing.

2 years on and now im driving a big car where knowing how far the back is when reversing is strictly experienced intuition

i would not recommend a toyota camery as you cannot see the rear bumper and paralell parking could prove to be disasterious!

  5. a small car, honda civic or accord lx, or a prius cause of high gas prices

  6. NEVER EVER buy a teenager or new driver a NEW car. Stats show that most of the new drivers wreck their car within the first 6 months.....and it is usually because they had other people in the car with them. Being distracted by others in the car lead to their wreck. Get them an old junker....if they take care of it for more than 6 months you can tell them you will trade up for a better one.
