New cockatiel wont eat!?

ok i just got a 3 year old male cockatiel and i already have a 4 year old female cockatiel, i gave them different cages because they dont like each other, anyways the 4 year old female cockatiel will eat but my new 1 wont eat anything!! i even tried hand feeding him but he wont eat anything, wat shud i do??
