  1. ok now when the bag gets down to half full

thats when you mix there food with grown duck food

    and baby duck food

    thats what i do

  2. They can eat it as long as it isn't medicated feed.

Although, it's best to feed duckling starter as this has the proper amounts of protein. But if you cannot get this, game bird starter is OK. When they're about 4-5 weeks old you can start them on duckling grower feed, then when they are fully mature they can go onto regular duck feed.

As for treats, TOMATOES! I have never met a duck who hasn't gone crazy for tomatoes. They also enjoy watermelons, grapes, lettuce, chopped hard-boiled eggs, oats, cracked corn.. and tons more veggies & fruits. Give them a wide variety and see what they like best. :)

  3. They can eat it, (as long as its not medicated) but it does not have all the nutrients a growing duck needs, so you need to supplement it. What you do is add old fashioned whole oat flakes and brewers yeast to it.

They also love cherios, but they shouldn't be given until about a month of age.

Finley chopped greens, veggies, and boiled egg shells are all things they like.

  4. I feed my ducklings a duck starter mix.  One thing that I strongly advise is that you make sure their food is NOT medicated.  It will make them very sick and could possibly kill them.  Good luck!
