Cruz Azul Julio César Domínguez, Gerardo Torrado and César Villaluz, Alejandro Argüello (América), Israel Castro (Pumas), Alan Zamora (Atlante), Horacio Cervantes (Morelia), and Francisco Fonseca (Tigres) were called up to la Selecion what

are your opinions?

Obviously everyone saw the Cruz Azul players

being called up. However I am surprised about Kikin, Alejandro Argüello, and Horacio Cervantes.

Kikin- has had a good start of a tournament but that still

doesn't take away the fact he is not a top quality player.

Argüello- he seems like a regular player so for

that reason I don't seem him in la selecion, he's

what I like to call a refill. Just there when no one

else can make it such as the European players

or Magallon.

Cervantes- Same opinion as the previous one.

There are some days when Kikin plays like he just drank some Oober juice. Hopefully that day comes on a eliminatoria game day. Id have to agree, I don’t like any of these players much for the national squad.

Its like Omar Bravo for example. I am Chivas to the bones, and I think hes an awesome player (when he WAS in chivas), but he is not a National Team player. Iono, some players just don’t function as well on an international level

cesar villaluz...good, will probably see action in second half.

torrado....yeah, alberto paz said it. we shouldn't call him unless we want to play with 10 people.

dominguez.... good, but won't play, too much competition.

kikin... wow, no comment (in a bad way).

arguello...this should be interesting; i've always seen some potential in him.

zamora and castro... well deserved but the europeans will keep them from seeing much playing time.

cervantes...hmmm can't say i recognize him, but then again i don't watch morelia.

There is NO way Cervantes stays. We have better Centrales than him. Magallon, Marquez, Galindo, ill even throw Cata in there

israel castro is good and torrado is the best defensive midfield in mexico. Only pavel pardo is better than him.

Villaluz doesnt do c**p though and this is coming from a cruz azul fan, he tries really hard and everything but taht deosnt cut it. He has no skill or anything.

Arguello is soo irregular, and there is nothing he is exceptionally good at. A mediocre midfielder at best.

Kikin has shown flashes of promise when he plays out on the wings but as a centre forward..la caga

The players he calls will be called for non-fifa dates, when euros cant make it. There are better choices, esta comensando a tomar la onda Erikson.

Castro could be playing in Spain right now, same for Torrado.

Zamora is in exceptional form. Better than Correa, Pato, or Hernandez.
