I've been using a head s5 comfort zone for the past 2 years annd I've been thinking of buying a Head Flexpoint Radical oversize to replace it. I'm between a begginner and itermeediate player.

I was wondering if the Head Flexpoint Radical is a good racquet for me right now. I've been seeing the price drop so I was thinking it might be outdated or something but i want a racquet that'll last me for a couple of years.

I'm better at the baseline then I am at the net but my net play is still pretty good. If I need a even better racuqet it would be helpful if you recommend me one and I'm looking towards a price of $120>.

  1. A heavier racquet may not be such a bad idea depending on your swing speed. However i also agree that you should get a tweener racquet. Its perfect for players looking to develop their strokes

  2. i think FP Radical OS is pretty heavier (11.3 oz / 320 g) than your current Ti S5 CZ (8.5 oz / 241 g). talk about surprising your arm. unless you have already try it, and found that you can swing your usual strokes without hurting your arms, i'd suggest you go for 'tweener racquets before going into tour racquets. probably you'd like to try Metallix 4 or Flexpoint 4 before making decision.

for the FP Radical OS, if you can afford it and want to buy it, just buy it. but i'd suggest you develop more muscle power first before using that racquet. btw Radical series are more for serve-and-volley predators. see if you are one of them. hope it helps :)
