what a fab idea. Am giving away heaps of clutter and hoping I won't collect too much in return! But is it my job to put up the 'taken' message, or the collector's?

  1. Is the freecycle done just in the US?

  2. Just a point, you post the taken, but the recipient does not post "received" - that is when a "wanted" is fulfilled.

and no, Freecycle is not just limited to the US, it is in a bunch of other countries - and they are always looking to spread the word!

  3. you have to put a taken message when they have collected it . the taker puts a received message on.

  4. I love freecycle its in the uk too, im a member its a great idea. But ive never had anything yet so i couldnt tell you. x

  5. its up to you to say whats been taken

  6. whoever has given the item has to put up the taken message to let people know that it has been taken and the recever has to put up the recived message so that people know that it has actually taken and the giver hasnt just put it up coz they don't actually want to give it away.
