Newspaperless world???

Question

Project yourself into society in which there sre no newspapers.Make a list of all functions provided by newspapers, including such things as providing news, serving as an advertising meadium, social announcements, up coming events, critical reviews, etc. How would each of these functions be met in the newspaperless society???

First of all, you need to do YOUR OWN HOMEWORK! You learn by doing yourself not by letting someone else do it for you. That's the importance of homework and classroom exercises. Sit down and use your brain. Research the stuff in books and online if need be. Compose your own thoughts and put them down on paper. Refine and polish your thoughts. Be creative; your professor will notice.

That being said, I would argue that a newspaperless world is not only improbable anytime in the next 100 years or so but unwanted. I mean, really, what would happen to all those companies that make refrigerator magnets if there were no newspaper stories printed on paper anymore? Good luck with your assignment.
