I am buying a new point n shoot 2morow & i read a lot of reviews on various cameras including the canon G9, the fuji film f100fd, the nikon p80 & some panasonics n sonys. I have removed the panasonic n sony cameras from my list but i just want a final opinion on what to get. I know all the specifications of the 3 cameras i mentiontiond. I just want some advice from people who have used the cameras. things like low light conditions, speed, OIS... Is the nikon a good choice??

It is my primary choice right now, i know that its slow n doesnt have RAW mode.

Should i go for the nikon or is their any other camera u advice me to get?

I just need it for everyday use as i already own a Nikon D80 & its so big, the canon g9 is also quite big for pockets!

Any help is appreciated.

  1. Take a SD card with you and do a test on the cameras you are interested in buying ... then take the card home and look at the results on your computer screen.

A number of my models are using the Coolpix cameras with WiFi built-in ... then they send their pics to anyone in the room with a notebook that is Wifi enabled

Most of them have a "c" on the end of the camera models name like S52c, etc.
