No More Dollar Menu????

Is it true McDonalds is gettin rid of the dollar menu?? cuz ill flip a shiit

I haven't heard that but I don't see where they could afford a dollar menu with the prices of food, gas etc rising. I am sure they won't raise it too much....they would lose alot of customers.

the dollar menu is still going to be there.  the only reason people go there is because of the dollar menu

McDonald's is not getting rid of it on any national level.  However, some franchisees may be choosing to alter the items on the dollar menu and in some cases taking it off.  The reality is that franchisees operate on a pretty small profit margin.  With the cost of food and delivery rising, that margin is shrinking further.  They are still obligated to pay all their franchise costs to McDonald's as well.  In a number of cases, they are losing money on dollar menu items and are making the tough choice to change the menu.  It probably won't ever go fully way but it will change.

I don't think the McDonald's I work at is getting rid of the dollar menu.  However, most McDonald's restaurants are independently owned franchises.  The McDonald's corporation doesn't necessarily make all the rules with respect to the Dollar Menu, but if they aren't making money off of it, then they have every right to pull it from every store.  Food prices are going up, and the store I work at just raised prices, but not the dollar menu because it is so popular, and with rising extra value meal prices, I expect that the dollar menu will only become more popular.

I seriously doubt it.  They might do like Wendys and make it a Value Menu.  I havent heard anything about it though.

no i hope not haven't heard that rumor yet people only go there for the dollar menu

It might happen next year because the Double Cheeseburger, and the McChicken are costing too much to make a profit. So, expect higher prices, or newer things to go on that $1.00 menu next year.
