No hot water in my bathtub

Question

I lived in my house for 2 months. The first time I took a bath in my garden tub, the hot water worked. The last 2 times I've tried to run a bath, the water won't get hot. I adjusted the heat on my water heater, but that didn't work. Every other faucet/shower in my house gets hot water except the bathtub. What's going on?

Did you by chanse install a hand wand in one of the showers? Both faucets, hot and cold on, and controling the flow with a button? If so, water is taking a short cut through  that valve, not allowing hot water to get to where you want it.

If you are renting your house call the landlord/lady and tell them about the water they have to fix , if you own the house then call up a plummber and consult with them about the hot water they will most probubly be able to fix it ;)

your faucet could be an anti scald product, if it is not working proper, this could be the problem.

you might need to rebuild your faucet.
