Question:

No period, Not Pregnant?

I'm more than a week late but pregnancy tests show not pregnant. I used my birth control to skip my period on purpose last month so that I could truly enjoy my honeymoon, but now I'm worried. Whats going on?

  1. Sometimes when you use the pill to manipulate your period like that you can get a little "off" in your cycle.

However, if you think there is a chance you are pregnant, take the test first thing in the morning using your first morning pee.  That way if you are pregnant the hormone will be most concentrated in the morning pee and more easily detectable.  Another bit of advice--use the digital test that actually says the words "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so there isn't any question of whether or not the second line is showing up or whatever.  (happened to me and it was annoying!)
