No sound need help badly?

my lan card broke so i went to get a new 1 when i installed it my pc wont boot, my brother in law said it has a conflict in the drivers so he disabled my sound card.. so finally i got my lan working and i can connect to the net but i have no sound. when i check on the device manager all devices are working but still no sound. he disabled it from the bios or cmos or something. what can i do to get to work again?

  1. Just try this, uninstall your sound driver, restart your computer and then install your sound card driver again. If you don't have the sound card driver, u can find it in the internet. Just googling with keyword is your hardware name.

    If that's not work you just go, ask your brother in law to repair it. Ok!!!

  2. What model is your computer? If you can seach it online, then you can find the drivers and install it. Look in device manager if it states what kind of sound card you have, once you find that out, go on google, and look for a download, and install your driver. Good luck finding it.

    If you state your exact computer model or your sound card, I may be able to help you find the driver.

  4. There might have a problem with your sound driver. Try to reinstall it. Ask also your brother-in-law because he knows everything about computers.
