Question:

No sound through tv speakers

i connected my LG surround sound to my ps3 today via an optical cable(my ps3 is connected to my LG tv via an HDMI cable) the surround sound is amazing while playing games or watching a blu ray film but ever since i set up my surround sound i cant get sound coming through my tv even if the surround sound system is off!!! any suggestions would be grateful
