No virus protection...am i OK? ?

Question

Having a virus protection thing is a pain....If I just use my firewall, and don't go on any bad sites. p**n, (not that I do) etc....will I be ok?

Only things I use my PC for is Yahoo answers, and maybe school work...

Is it ok for me not to use any virus protection?

No it isn't OK.

This is like taking a bath with all of your close on.

You are basicly asking for trouble, in this day and age it simply isn't a smart thing to do.

It will catch you sooner or later.

If i were you i wouldnt risk it when i first got my laptop i had it 4 like a week i barely used it 4 anything and i didnt have protection and when i did get protection (AVG) it was full of viruses! -so if u want you can get AVG its free and not a pain at all- it runs scheduled scans and updates itself and its the best free antivirus program availble you can get it here- http://www.grisoft.com/ww.homepage best of luck! hope i helped!

Nope not ok, eventually you will get  a virus and it could be a bad virus to which you might have to formatt your hard drive, it is a lot better to have an anti virus installed so that you can catch any type of virus. As long as you use the internet, you will eventually get a virus.
