Hello everyone,

I own a Nokia N95 and I got sports track software installed, this software allowe you to record your trips and get statistics details about altitude, speed and you can see you route and export it for google earth.

I being using this with my car and I can see all that I'm saying because I got some trips recorded with speed, altitude, time and a combination of all this.

So, I know it works, It works on buses and trains but, N95 will be abled to receive GPS signal on plane's window?

I want to know if anyone of you have used this as I said.

King regards

  1. It should work, I guess!

Try getting it past the cabin crew though!

    GOOD LUCK!

  2. While technically it will work, you must disable all wireless features while in flight, which may include the GPS.  If the phone's airplane mode allows passive GPS receiver, you can use it (could not find out for sure on the nokia website)
