Ntl digtal?

i live in ireland and have ntl digital but on the remote there is an interactive button and when i press it nothing happens. Can some explain what this button does

This button should give access to the interactive content on Virgin media, but some parts of the UK are under-connected and don't always get the interactive service; we (I worked in customer services  between 2000 and 2002) used to explain that this service was technically free of charge, and that if it was unavailable, then that was tough.

If you want this function and an explanation as to its absence, call customer services for an explanation of the availability in your area.

Absolutely nothing.For 3yrs when you pressed the button it said "interactive services coming soon" but they had to remove it because after all that time they still couldn't say when the service would start

hmmmm i thought ntl changed to virgin media, must be different in ireland.

Well i havent had '' ntl '' in a little while as ive changed to sky but i think i had the same thing with mine.

Hi,

Here in England NTL has changed to Virgin Media. When I press Interactive it comes up with a menu for news, weather, sports and bettings, BBC entertainment etc.

Quite good really - get on phone to NTL and ask what is happening with interactive.

Thankfully my contract with these are up soon as I find them to be rubbish, am going to move to SKY as much better.
