OBE question?

Question

is whats hapening in OBE real?are the reactions you get from other people what they would do in real life or at least what they would wan't to do?

I have done some pretty crazy stuf in OBE.

I have done some things that I thought was impossible.

I had a OBE during sleep like other times, except this time I was pissed because this one spirit  would harass me in my sleep. I came out saw him, I grabbed and threw and held him on the floor. I called out, "someone give me a cross" My spirit guide I think it was....since she was coming to me a lot at that time handed me a cross, looked like the one in my sons room. I put it on his forehead and burned him till he screamed. That spirit never gave me a hard time again.

I know it was real and true...because not only did I have OBEs before, but I have seen my spirit guide while wide awake....and once I was a wake when that bad spirit came.

it depends... you can have an OBE  it doesnt mean the other person is asleep at the same time, so it would all depend on whether the person you are seeing is dreamimg or actually awake at the time your are in yours. my boyfriend, which is odd as he isnt aware he is doing it astrally gives me powerful messages while im asleep....... so many times though i have awoken suddenly from it and he is on the couch siletly watching tv, its so weird... and later when i tell him what he said he blows out and says he had been thinking of talkin to me about it... weird...

no, OBE is not real. What you are experiencing is a creation of the mind. The human brain is very powerful and can make very realistic hallucinations and dream stuff.

edit: Mikey is wrong, I have experienced OBEs and they are very realistic. However, they are not real. You are experiencing sleep paralysis hallucinations or lucid dreams.

If you watch the movie "Awake" when the guy gets up and is walking around during surgery, this is an example of how the mind can create such a hullicination. He was not actually outside of his body, as you will notice, different things were happening in his hallucination than what was happening in the real world.

Alright - I'll try to put this in an unbias fashion.

OBEs are real - they happen. As House M.D. said in an episode, "They're real experiences..."

Sometimes they seem too real for words and can even mirror what is happening around you.

An OBE can be many things, but most usually it is the mind's interpretation of what is going on around you while you are in an unconscious state.

Psychic or not, remember that whatever you see in a dream/vision/obe/etc is the spiritual/mental/etc interpretation of something else and should be treated with a skeptical yet open-minded reasoning.

"Real" is quite a bendy word in this context, as reality is a lot bigger than just the physical world we know and love!  Over the years, I've verified enough unguessable information to know that what they're based on is objective.  They tend to be very riddled with perceptual anomalies and symbolic content though, so think twice before considering them a reliable source!  (According to Robert Bruce, you tend not to enter the actual physical world out of body, but rather an associated counterpart that's just strongly linked to it - "the Real Time Zone" or RTZ).

People I know that I meet OOB tend to act in character, but they generally don't think the meeting is in any way unusual.  They tend to hang out and chat rather than just be asleep in their bed.

I have experienced some pretty strange stuff in dreams as well.  However, because they're dreams and they aren't real means that what happens in dreams stays in dreams.

Dont listen to these people that tell you that they are not real ( above )  these people have not experienced an astral projection and are talking from inexperience.

I have been having obe's for over 10 years and have spoken to so many people who passed over ( including two of my cousins ) and a few "spiritual beings".  I have gotten so many important messages regarding my life from them.

If you have ever projected out of your body you will know that it is real....it's just another dimention ( that people dont understand )

Most people do it every night and dont even know it.  I have seen people I know who are sleeping ...when I come out of my body i see them walking around the house or they are up looking at the computer or just sitting up in their bed all smiley.  It is so funny..

You are not having OBEs,you are having dreams.There's a difference.Dreams are real,OBEs have never been demonstrated.Anyone saying they can leave their bodies is lying or fooling themselves.In my experience lucid dreaming.It was very difficult influencing events.Impossible to control characters.The best I can do is be aware I'm dreaming.I've heard others say they can"direct"the dream.I believe that may be possible.Have fun with it but don't buy into the OBE foofraw,codswallop.
