Holik thrived on the Devils.  He burned on the Rangers, was decent in Atlanta.  He knows how to play Devils hockey.  So he should be a good fit.  He's not worth $2.5, but it's somewhat fair.

Holik didnt play that badly in Atlanta.   The Devils got Holik and Rolston because those guys understand Devil's hockey. I for one am glad to have those guys back.

Holik will be  a good veteran presence.

With brylin probably gone, this was a very underrated signing, Holik has played with most of those guys, and has a veteran presence that knows how to win cups.  Playing with guys like pandolfo and madden could help his numbers.  Pandolfo and Madden had big offensive seasons last year, and that may help Holik, the devils have much more depth than Atlanta.

Looks like Lou doesn't understand the new NHL (even though it's a few years old now).

Didn't he see Holik crash and burn in Atlanta?  Or was literally no one watching thrashers games?

I LOVE THE ROLSTON SIGNING!  I'm iffy about the Holik signing, but I have to agree with Sara because he was so good with us in our system....our system has changed but the same kind of player succeeds in this hybrid system we have.....

I think he will be a solid player and add to our offense, which (and it pains me to say) Brylin was not doing.....

Holik is back and I am liking the idea of it more and more....bring back Shanny and we can pretty much change our colors back to red, white and green
