been at my current job about seven months and well a lot of the employees there are slackers.I have seen two get fired ,new hires, for doing some of the same things that the old employees have been doing forever. What is right about this.Should I look for another job.One of the guys there he is young and does nothing but play stay on his cell phone and today he hit me in the back with his umbrella and thinks he can, I guess because he does get away with anything.I did report him. There is only so much I will take and getting hit in the back is not one of them.

  1. Tell your employer that is they continue to allow someone to hit you, then you will be forced to file assault charges with the police and that will reflect poorly on them too.  You could also sue them for an unsafe work environment.  If they fire you over it, get it in writing that that is why they are firing you and then apply for unemployment.  You'd win on that one!

  2. IF you don't feel comfortable being there, get another job I think that is the best thing you can do, You know the job  that you have right now is the the only one, just like you got that one, you can get another one,

The same thing happened to me I was working at McDonal's, I really hated it, I was arguing with the manager all day, and they gave me the busiest day to work, I tried to quit like 5 times, but they didn't let me go,because I was the only hard working guy there, the rest of them, just playing around, until one day I just told them I really want  to go, and finally I left, and within 1 week I got a better job.

You should do the same if you don't feel comfortable. GOOD LUCK!!
