What is your favorite kind of shot for me it's a 3 cushion kick -held over from Bank pool I guess

Nothing like the look on your opponent after a "great" defensive shot!......but my favorite shot to execute is to cut a ball lets say to the left corner and then send the cue ball to the opposite side rail....grab it and watch it spin back to the end you shot from.....just to shoot any shot by doing the simplest stroke and realize and appreciate the fact that you do not have to shoot hard is something else I appreciate.....but  like a "Mr Dooomass" I still end up shooting it hard and as a result mess up the stroke and not come anywhere near where I needed to be!!

My mentors taught me that with good Q ball control I should never find myself needing a kick shot. It normally only comes up following a defensive shot. My favorite shot comes up often and is a three rail bank to the side pocket when the angles to tight to go cross corner.

Crown Royal..........take a couple of swigs of that, & you'll be able to make any magical 3 plus railer.........without even hitting a single ball! haha...........Dre O

draw shot from the middle table shoot make the object ball in conner draw cue ball back to end raile for shape on next ball

A straight in short shot on the money ball!

Seriously though, anytime I get to really juice the ball. I love the feeling of pulling back the cue ball around a couple of rails and making my opponent go, "holy sh*t!"

It doesn't come up all of the time, but I love dead combinations.  Not really my "best" shot but I'm always looking for them in straight pool to help break up the stack.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

My favorite is cross side shot, from any angle!, deadly on them!, 99.9%, sure shot. Second I would have to say the three rail kick, when I had to!.
