Does anyone know how to do a search to find obituary notices within the last ten years of a town/city online? Thanks

The US Gen Web pages for some counties have some.

The county library in Preble County, Ohio has a bunch of them on-line, but that doesn't do you any good if you mean Pocatello.

You can post a request on the county page in Ancestry or GenForum. Some counties have Internet Angels, some don't. (An "Internet Angel" is a person who does nice things for strangers, like lookups, not a mythical being like the Tooth Fairy.)

Some newspapers have archives that go back that far and are free. Most don't.

check the local funeral homes for their websites, some of them archive obituaries.
