Officer stopping you for speeding?

Is it possible for a police car following you, to be able to clock the speed of an oncoming car,and say that it was you that was speeding?

it is unfortunatly, but sometimes, it can make some mistakes, since they use lazer for doing that, the lazer can focus on the car next to u and set its speed for u

Sure, we can even clock a vehicle coming from behind us.

Radar is subject to errors, called anomalies, but a trained officer should be able to identify them.

Mistaking a car going in the same direction with one going in the opposite direction would be very unusual.

Yes, it is very possible and we have been doing it for about thirty or more years now.  There are so many radar systems on the market that not only can calculate your (cruiser) speed, but also another oncoming or same direction target...  Not only that, but it can add or subtract your speed (cruiser speed) automatically as long as you identify the target through the doppler shift.  It is very complicated to explain here but the simple fact is that it can and has been done for a very long time...  I remember doing two way radar in Georgia, back in the late 80's and that equipment was rather old...  So, it has been around for quite a while...
