Ok so ameera or gunner?

what do u think of Ameera Marie for a girl or Gunner Roland if its a boy???

Ameera means princess and my husband is military so he likes Gunner alot. He thought of both of these names i just wanted to know what others thought about them?

Ameera is alright, but I'd like it better spelled Amira. That just seems more feminine to me. Gunner I really dislike. It's cool to honor your country and the military, but I don't think guns are a good thing in general. Why not name a boy after a fallen soldier your husband knew or a mentor in the military or a favorite old politician? Gunner just sounds really violent to me.... It has a bad connotation. Roland I'm also not big on.

I love love love Ameera.  It sounds great with Marie.

Normally I wouldn't like the name Gunner, but since your husband is military, I think it's cute.  Gunner Roland sounds good together too.

Ameera is a beautiful name, my cousin is called that and it goes really well with Marie.I think it looks very cute on girls. I'm not sure about Gunner it sounds quite frightening.

I would say Gunner is too literal and violent sounding considering your husband's line of work. It seems dark. Sorry.

I love the middle name Roland though. And Ameera is pretty but Marie is just ok...a little bland.

Have you considered Amaya? I LOVE that.

I like the name Gunner, but not because of the military. It was on my name list for a while.

Marie is to common.

Ameera is okay. Not a big fan of Marie as a name period but that's just me, it's overused. I would make an exception though if it was your Grandmother's name and you want to honor her or something like that. I knew a Gunner once, the name is nice, the connotations are not. But Gunner Roland sounds very old fashioned and unique. You have my vote on Gunner Roland.

Your husband has incredible taste. Gunner is handsome and rugged. Passing on your husbands middle name really personalizes is. the flow is a little off the my ears; however it all depends on your last name. I like Gunner Jaron. As for Ameera Marie -Ces't Jolie! (which means beautiful in French.)

I love Ameera but not Marie- its just too common. I'm not a fan of Gunner but its a great idea, how about Winston or Sigfried "Sig"
