I have my english paper tomorrow ... Its to write a description and a story, does anyone have any tips for a short story :) how do i get the A*

i think u should choose a topic which u r aware of very well!.....dont go 4 sumthin wich is probably interestin bt u dont a lot abt it.

so jus go for sumthing innovative...u cn opt for murder mystery or something very techno and attractive......sumthin like ghost

anyhow  its ur decision...so best of luck

Pick something that YOU know a lot about. Or, YOU are interested in. If you are, then you'll be able to inform people about it well. For example you wouldn't pick something like 18th century weapons. Actually thats pretty cool, but you know what I mean.

Write a story about something you know a lot about. or look to your freinds and family for some sort of inspiration.... Try to make it as real and interseting as posible. good luck!

dont try to follow a storyline the way you thought it. start improvising throuout. if the prince is saving the princes let him be a machine gun wielding savage who drinks zebra blood and the princess is really a broom stick
