Old Video Camera?

I have an old analog video camera, but I want to import the stuff I've filmed onto my computer. I have the needed video and audio cables to connect it directly to my comp, but what kind of software do I need for that?

If the camera is analog, you need hardware:

or a built-in TV card. MovieMaker may import when you identify the port for the Capture.

You can try WinDV, too - but that might want a firewire port.
