Old childrens programme?

theres this childrens programme that i used to watch in school, i was in year 1/2 , so it was a learning programme, and the only thing i can remember about it was a grey muppet like zorro character that helped you spell or do maths or something..i cant remember anything else, but i remember always wanting to watch it :')

does anyone know the name of it?

so i can look it up on youtube or something ..
