Oliver? Yes or No..?

Hi. I found out I'm having a baby boy a few weeks back & I've gone through names left & right. My boyfriend suggested Oliver & I actually like it a lot. I just wanted to know what others thought of the name? Or if anyone had any other cute names they wanted to throw in that we be nice too?

The full name would be Oliver Ray Doty.

  2. I LOVE the name Oliver!!  What about Oliver Matthew Doty.  I like Corey Oliver, Or Cole Oliver Doty.  I don't know, Oliver Ray sounds good to me.

  11. Yes!  If we have a boy, his name will be Oliver.  I LOVE it!

    I also love Liam and Liam Oliver as a full name.  Not a huge fan of Oliver and Ray together, because of the double R sounds.  It runs together like Oliver Ay.

  20. I really like Oliver in its full form.  The only let down for me is the probability he would end up with Olly as a nickname.  I hate the name Olly.

    What about a different first name and two middle names?

    Just an example: Blake Oliver Ray Doty

    That way you get in Oliver but dont' have to worry about Olly as a nickname
