West Brom defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonas-c18967 Olsson has warned new signing and compatriot Markus Rosenberg that he must be ready to step up when he’s given his Premier League start.
The Swedish striker was only one of the numerous new arrivals at the Hawthorns this summer. The striker was added to the West Brom ranks in the last month of the transfer window, and joins a bolstering and impressive squad.
New Baggies manager Steve Clarke made some impressive and smart signings during the summer, with Rosenberg one of two strikers to have arrived. West Brom signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Goran-Popov-c15165
and Yassine El-Ghanassy. Both players have a permanent buy option on their contract.
The Baggies have enjoyed a flying start to the Premier League, managing 7 points from 3 games. The squad is impressive and Steve Clarke has a host of options at his disposal.
Rosenberg joins the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Claudio-Yacob-c9331 who have moved to the Hawthorns permanently. Rosenberg has not been handed a start in the Premier League, but has made two substitute appearances. The striker had a hand in the equalizer against Tottenham
two weeks ago and had his moments.
Besides a start in the Capital One Cup, Rosenberg has not started for the Baggies in the league. Olsson believes his chance will come, but the striker will have to make the most of it. Considering the depth West Brom now possess, chances will be few and
rare, and it is up to the players to make them count.
“Markus’ first task will be to get in the team, which isn’t easy,” he said. “I really feel that this year we have a great depth in the squad.”
“You look at the bench and there are a lot of really good players there. That is important, because we all know it’s a long season in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. Everybody will get their chance at some time and, when that chance comes, you have to take it.”
“I know Rosenberg from the Swedish team, he’s a really good player, he will bring a lot of good things to the team going forward, and the fans will enjoy watching him."
