What is the margin of times that the female runners fell between for the 800m? What is the fastest time and the slowest time?

  1. The margins for the womens  800m is from about 1:55 to about 2:05


  2. It varies. Runners need to qualify the trial standard to run it and based on current trend for the US Olympic trial 800m it will most probably between 2'0" to 2'6" excludes those who can not finish and those blow up.

  3. 800 meter for women "A" group is 2:01.50 and "B" is 2:06.50. The field size is 30. I put the link below for all the qualifying times.

  4. I believe to qualify for the "B" standard you have to run 2:04 and "A" standard a 2:02. "B" standard does not guarntee you a spot in the meet. Only top 20 something marks can qualify for the meet. The slowest will be around 2:04 abd tops 1:58.
