Abinav Bindra made India proud by winning her first individual gold ever.....

so my Q.. is

which victory do you rate higher......?

Bindra's Olympic Glory or 1983 WC victory.....?

I think 1983 WC slightly better.

Bindra's is an individual effort.He did it all by himself without or with least support from Indian sports body.It can be compared to Vishwanathan Anand's effort in Chess.

Indian WC victory was brought by the length and breadth of India.

Kudos to Bindra for the first Olympic Gold.

Kudos to team India for the WC 1983 triumph.

1983 World Cup victory. That was what drove this country cricket crazy.

India was never in with a chance. And West Indies was the strongest team.

Bindra's Olympics success is a golden moment, but I don't think it will be a defining moment in Indian sports. The excitement is ephemeral, and as everyone said, Abhinav created history, and it will remain so.

I think internationally Bindra's gold is more important.

However I think to most Indians 83 WC absolutely kills it.

Bindra's Olympic victory was important but the country is still a cricket-crazed country. No one can forget Kapil Dev leading the Indian side to the 1983 WC. Bindra's gold was a huge achievement but the 1983 was much bigger!

very easy question 1983 world cup victory was by far the best thing India has ever don ,and probably ever will do ,,the Windies where unbeatable at the time, so this was a huge upset in world cricket .and i think it effected the Windies after that cos they where never quite the same

For me Bindra's gold medal stand higher than WC victory because it is first individual gold in the 108-year history.
