Olympics????? Still possobiilities?

I am at the point were i want to be in the olympics I will be of age when london comes around. I want to be a gymnast i have the build similar to nastia lukins and I have little exsperience If i am determend are there still hopes for london?????????????

Hate to burst your bubble, but probably not.

You're what - 12??  Most of the gymnasts that competed in Beijing have been doing gymnastics long before that age.  You need years of conditioning and experience in order to even become recognized.

That's not to say that you can't try, but I'm just being realistic........

What you would have to do is go to a gymnastics place, and start training. If you are good, then you will enter competitions. You will have to place pretty high in those in order to have a chance at the Olympics. Nastia and Shawn both trained a long time to get where they are. So, you will have to do the same. This trick is to find a coach that can train you to the Olympic caliber. And that might not be very cheap.
