You can bid as many times as you want. You can also just put in the top dollar that you want to pay....So if an item is at 3.00, and you are willing to pay 10.00 for it, make your bid $10.00 and the current price will increase to $4.00, however, if the current bidder has already done the same thing and say his top dollar was 6.00, the price would then go to 7.00. If his top bid was also 10.00, the price would go to 10.00 but he would have it, because he bid 10.00 first.
