One day cruises at Long beach.?

Me and my family are taking a trip to long beach and I was interested in taking a one day cruise like to another island and back. We want the luxury of the biggest ship we can find, like one with dinning areas and activities to do on board. Is there any ships in the long beach area that do this only for one day or a couple of hours out to sea that are large like the regular ships?

Well... not really. The big ships don't do this sort of thing because there's not much money in it.  

The shortest out of Long Beach is 2 nights on either Carnival or RCI, but they're not the biggest of their ships.  Those are usually in the Caribbean, sailing 7 nights.

But it's really more like a ferry; it only takes an hour.

You can go to Avalon (which is better known as Catalina) on a ferry..........There are shops and a restaurants.  There are no motor vehicles on the island except for mopeds and golf carts.  

You can take a tour on an opened air transport of the island.  One of the Wrigley mansions is there.  There is a glass bottom boat tour......the water is so so clear there........

We use to have our boat in Long Beach and we would go there.
