Question:

Online Weather Forecast?

Although I don't depend my life on weather conditions much as farmers or hikers, I see weather forecast an important element for a smooth life, esp during outdoor activities.

I live in Malaysia and am currently using accuweather.com as my default weather-teller. After comparing it with several online weather pages such as BBC weather, Yahoo weather, Intellicast.com, none of the data appeared in uniformity and this tells that I might be following the wrong message for long time since.

I also understand that it's better to follow a local weather forecast agency but till recent there's only a conventional online provider which gives out weather in common.

Which of all are the most reliable online weather-teller?

  1. Deviations in forecasts may be related to the station closest to a particular city.  Not all cities have weather stations and thusly, the forecast data is interpolated.  Meaning that if you had a station to the west and one to the east, data would be estimated.  For example, if station A to the west is 70 and station B to the east is 68, a reasonable forecasted temp could be 69.

  2. Accuweather is great!! Compared to the weather channel, who is so broad they can't  be accurate in smaller places, accuweather is worldwide, but based in State College, Pennsylvania in the USA. It still gives accurate forecasts and the best I've seen on the web other than the national weather service www.noaa.com. But that is also based from USA and mostly only gives forecasts for USA.

  3. probably the weather channel
