Opening an icecream store?

I was always interested in opening a store. If I were to open an ice cream store, would all the ice cream have to be made by me or would I be able to order it off a company? If I ordered it off a company, would my store have to be named after that company?

You can buy ice cream from a supplier and resell it.  Or make your own. No name brands are available but your profit margin increases when you make your own

If you bought a franchise, you'd have to use their name.

But if you opened your own ice cream store, you could buy ice cream wholesale from any ice cream maker and sell it under whatever name you like!

Try Googling "wholesale ice cream" and you'll see there are tons of possibilities out there.
