Opening or closing ceremony?

Which ceremony did you like better? The opening ceremony or the closing ceremony?

Opening was great. Lot of great performances. Closing was a shorter and didn't really amaze me too much because I had already experienced something spectacular. However, both were good and if I had to choose, opening would be my choice.

I only saw the closing ceremony, and it was pretty amazing.  I hope to buy the opening ceremony online and see it.  I'm really sad the Olympics are over though :(

Opening.  Closing is depressing since it is all over.  With the opening ceremony we have the whole olympics to look forward to.  Plus the opening ceremony was truly amazing.

The opening was way more impressive.  I found some moments during the closing extremely cheesy like the people boarding the invisible plain.  Gag.  But the rest has been pretty cool.  Still, the amount of people in the opening ceremony alone was incredible.

I didn't really enjoy either. Not because they weren't any good. It's just a different culture and I didn't really get most of it. Really beautiful though, both closing and opening.

the opening. it was more dramatic. the closing was mostly a concert. thats cool but i enjoyed the performances more

Opening by far.  It had a lot of history.

But the closing was amazing!  Especially the countdown in fireworks!
