Opening own Business?

Question

I was talking with my fiancee and I told him that I would love to open our own business. If this was something he and I decided to do, how would I get started?

Funding?

Information?

P.S. I want us to open our own skating rink.

It is probably easier to buy an existing skating rink because it is really an in depth idea to do this from scratch.

Good idea though - kids love skating and socializing.

ok, doing the skating rink is a BIG STEP for having a business...you should start smaller because, if you have a skating rink, you'll need:

~Ice

~A SKATING RINK

~Many MANY MANY Ice Skates

So, start smaller like a Home Business...you could learn(if you don't know already) how to knit, sew, or chochet(i know i spelled it wrong -.-') and sell it online for a decent price. Or, you can make a section of your house dedicated to that business...
