I'm looking to purchase an SUV before winter. I know the prices of fuel have gotten crazy, but I get a lot of snow where I live and I don't feel safe trying to drive my small vehicle in the ice and snow anymore. Not to mention that my husband and I often have to take two separate vehicles just to get everyone around. So, anyways, what do you prefer?

2008 Chevrolet Suburban?

2008 Lincoln Navigator?

2008 Ford Expedition? or

2008 Yukon Denali?

  1. Chevy or Yukon.

The Suburban is the longer version of the Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon.

The Denali is the luxury version, which offers wood trim and some extra standard features.

  2. Don't waste your investment on any of these vehicles. The hands down best, full size SUV is the Toyota Sequoia. If your going to spend 40-50k on a full size SUV, wouldn't you prefer to drive one that will retain better re-sale value. Throw out the trash, look at Toyota, The Sequoia  blows these other SUV's away.

  3. Anyone should suit you, not sure as far as driving on ice, no vehicle is safe or handles any better on ice.But all those vehicles are in the same class, just look at how much you can afford to spend ,which ones have the best options that you like, not sure on the other models but the lincoln is a luxury model so you are typically going to pay more for the added luxury and make sure that this model and others can take regular unleaded, some lincolns or luxury type cars require premium which will add up $$ quick.GL

  4. Hate them all, they're all gas guzzlers. Subarus are known for their all wheel drive and good performance in the snow.

  5. I would choose neither, i would get the Subaru Tribeca.

Its very reliable, safe, affordable, and gets 24 mpg. Its not quite as big as the SUV's you suggested, but it holds seven people.

Also, anyone who owns a Subaru will tell you that they are AMAZING in the snow. (including me)   i am amazed at the amount of snow and ice i can safely drive my Subaru through. This last winter, i was able to drive through 3 feet of snow without even slipping!

  6. The Chevy Suburban or the Yukon Denali and I wouldn't personal  buy a Ford.GM cars is the best to me.

  7. chevy suburban or tahoe

  8. 2008 Yukon Denali

  9. NONE

  10. Personally I like the Quigley Motors 4x4 van conversions. I know, the name sounds funny, but, they are a real company. They are based on new Ford or GM full size vans. The van is ordered from a dealer with the options you choose. It is then shipped to the Quigley Motors shop in Pennsylvania where it is converted to 4 wheel drive. If you option it right, you can have seating for up to 15 passengers, and they have the full factory warranty. My wife and I have 3 teenagers so her Durango is getting a little small, and, we can't fit everybody in my F-250. She also drives about 30 miles one way to work and I want her safe in the snow. We speced out an 8 passenger Ford E-150 at a dealer in Elkhart In. It's going to run about $41,000 the way we want it. You can only get them through certain dealers, so, if this sounds interesting to you, go to quigley4x4.com to find a dealer near you.
