Question:

Opinion from guys?

my boyfriend and i were at a bar the other night and some drunk couples were making a racket a few tables from us. they were having a heated disagreement that got a bit physical and two guys were shoved to our table, spilling most of the drinks on me. my boyfriend got mad and started pushing the guys away. to make a long story of pushing and shoving short, one of the guys punched my boyfriend and he fell. i'm no martial artist but i've seen a lot of movies so i went and punched out the guy who hit my boyfriend - just hard enough to knock him out, he was drunk afterall. then the bouncers came and broke the group up.

my boyfriend hasn't mentioned the incident since then and he changes the topic when i bring it up. i know he must be feeling a bit embarassed about me knocking some guy out instead of being my hero. but why not talk to me? pardon my french but i saved both our a**es right?

  1. hey it sucked for him

hes ashamed in front of you:(

  2. i think his embarrassed, cuz he got KO'd by a drunk guy. also maybe he doznt want ppl to hear bout it, just to avoid gettin in trouble.

  3. Yes you did the right thing, I would have done the same. But your boy friend most likely feels emasculated. Good luck.

  4. I wouldn't be ashamed or embarrassed...in fact, I think I'd probably be bragging about my gf's punchin' skills.

Maybe he's afraid to get on your bad side now?

  5. his ego must have been touched a bit.  pride in oneself for guys is important.  need your respect.  forget it and don't talk about it anymore.  maybe next time he'll come out better, otherwise punch him next time.  lol

  6. He's embarrassed. Don't rub it in.
