Orange Dragonfly?

I live in the desert and today as I was going to lunch this vibrantly orange dragonfly landed on my car antena and just chilled there for a moment. It was the brightest shade of orange I have ever seen. I have tried to look up any info I could find about it but I can't ... does anyone know anything about orange dragonflies?

I know what you are talking about. Actually, dragonflies especially from the desert come in red, fuchsia, orange, pink, blue, gold, saffron, black, emerald, maroon, earth tones, and some are spotted, striped, etc. The one that you are talking about is called the Libellula saturata or Flame Skimmer. They are red-orange and are very pretty.
