Overcharging my IPOD?

I was wondering if your ipod can overcharge. I have some new speakers and I don't want to leave my ipod on them all the time in case it overcharges it and shortens the battery life. Do they overcharge??

  1. yeah. they overcharge and it can ruin the ipod=(

Fully charge your ipod and then wait unil it dies on its own to charge it again. its a lot better for the battery:D

  2. yes

  3. I dunno, I'd hate to disagree with an "Apple Expert". But I think there's firmware programing the shuts off the in-stream of electricity after the battery is charged fully. I don't know about third party wall/car chargers, though. I get issues about those sometimes. But I do not believe that the 30-pin USB Dock Connector Cable will overcharge your iPod.
