Ovulation pains on the left side?

ok i had a tubal reversal they said they could not tell if my left tube was open but my right tube is for sure open so my question is if my left is not open would i get ovulation pains on that side ?

  1. Ovulation pain could be attributed to which Ovary releases follicles.  The tubes aren't actually connected directly to the ovaries.  And a closed tube doesn't stop the ovary from doing it's thing.  Left tube may not be able to receive a follicle and get it to the uterus, but the left ovary will still be producing.  I seem to recall the ovaries switch off primary egg production and follicle release, so you may be feeling the pain when the left ovary is dominant and releasing follicles.

            


  2. my tubes are tied, and I get ovulation pains every month.  They seem to just stop at a point and not travel all the way.
