Results and stuff aside, if I were to study psychology should I choose Cambridge or Oxford? Or some other school?

  1. I'd say it depends on what sort of degree you're planning on doing, a BSc or a BA.

Because Oxford is generally regarded as being the best for arts and humanities subjects, so taking a bachelor of arts in psychology it might be worth looking at Oxford.

But Cambridge is generally regarded as the best for science subjects.

Applications must be made by the October in the preceeding year though, and you can only apply to one or the other.

There are plenty of other universities though with psychology that are perfectly respectable. Just because Oxbridge is regarded as the most prestigious, doesn't mean it's going to be right for you.
