PICTURES! Gaps in teeth???? Braces???

Question

braces are coming off in 10 days woo woo! =D

Really excited =D

But i still have these gaps

in the second picture..my front top 2 teeth dont look straight "/

is it just me being obsessive or are they wonky still?

Ohh, now that I see the picture, your teeth are as close as they are gonna get!!

Don't worry, you'll most likely get them off on September 3!!

i think because of the shpe of your teeth, which by the way is completly normal, you teeth arnt going to get any closer. and some spaces between your teeth at the bottom is fine, its supposed to be there.

Oh my gosh - i am in exactly the same situation: braces off in 10 days but still gaps, EXCEPT my gaps are huage compareed to yours!  Honestly you can't see yours at all and you teeth look lovely- all the pain was worth it!  But, if your not happy ask your dentist if their's anything they can do the worst that can happen is they'll say no. You must have had braces for over a year so what difference is another month if you'll be happy for life! Personally i'm squeezing my teeth together atm but i have like a mm gap between my top front teeth.  I'm not letting my dentist leave me like this, i've struggled through braces and i'm going to have perfect teeth at the end!! :D

It is the anatomy of your teeth.  The incisal edge ( your biting edge) is wider, and tapers to the gum line.  Your messial edges (edges facing your 2 front teeth) are side by side you cannot get them any closer.  Unfortunately this is your anatomy, if you want the space closed you could have a DDS add bonding, or veneers after the braces are removed. Sorry that's the only way, unless you want to try shaving the messial edges which can cause sensitivity and damage.

Your worrying too much. What strikes me about your teeth is how white they are. I personally think your teeth are lovely. Think about this. How many people get right up and examine a person closely like we do ourselves in a mirror. Everyone even the most gorgeous person will find something not to like about a part of their face when looking that close to their reflection. Relax and be assured your teeth are healthy, pretty and white. I just wish I could see a picture of your smile when your braces are off. Maybe you could write to me directly when your finished. I'd love that.

Those spaces are so little you can't even see them unless you look extremely hard.

I have them and they are normal!

As for them being crooked,they are not.

That is just the shape of your teeth,that's all!
