PLEASE HELP! Leopard Gecko problem!!!!!!?

OK-I didnt know that feeding a leopard gecko something to big for it could cause impaction and i just gave my Juvi a waxworm that i thought was a little to big and now i feel literally sick to my stomach becouse i just read about bigger food causing impaction and i DO NOT want that

will it be ok?

what should i check for?

is there anything i could do do aid with digestion???

  1. Eep!, I fed a lizard something waaaay too big and he was dead the next day. I'd recomend taking your Gecko to a vet or local Lizard breeder to be checked out, Im not sure what they can do about it though.

    Check to make sure your Lizard is eating, drinking and going to the toilet (not that they use toilets..)

    Is your lizard acting like it normally does?, does it react to things it usally reacts to?, if not then theres a problem.

    When Lizards are ill egg white can help (hand fed). Also natural sunlight helps with the Lizards digestion.

  2. He'll be fine.  Wax worms are soft bodied and unlikely to cause impactions like large crickets or mealworms can.  Just make sure his UTH mat temps are correct for digestion...88-91F.
