PLEASE HELP WITH IPOD?

Question

My ipod wont connect to my computer,it wont even show up..on my desktop or my laptop.When i plug it into the USB port it usually says something,and now its not on either computers.i THINK the problem has to be with the ipod or USB cable thing...PLEASE i need help now.I HAVE ALREADY TRIED RESETTING IT.

Try plugging on other USB drives, maybe the one where you plugged it in doesn't recognize you Ipod.

that happened to my ipod the problem is that the ipd is confused you have connected it to two computers it only wants one bring it to an apple store if you still have a warenty they will give you a new one

Hi Work for Apple Inc. You may have a 1.0 USB port. Ipod's only work with a 2.0 USB Port. Try buying a 2.0 port from a local shop like Argos. If this don't work bring it in to a Apple Store.

u can  take another new ipod of a good brand such as apple as mine i have a mini 1 hope u will like ur new 1.

If it's a really old ipod then the connection has probably had it. Mine did the same.. it was like an ipod mini or something

USB Check you usb card and then you resart your computer.

borrow someones USB cable and see if it works if not then there is something wrong with the computer of ipod... cant find some technical support online??
