  1. CHOP from the 2 dollar shop.

  2. OMFG this just happened to me. and i posted a question like this 2, if u wanna chek out mi pro then go 2 questions.wat i did was call 345-sony, selesct ps3, wait ttil u heer the optio about getting a rep, hold, get a rep, tell them, get ur receipt, give them shipping info, and if still under warranty, they will send u a box with free shipping so u can send it to em and u should get it, or a new system, bak in 7-10 business days!

  3. maybe the disc is damaged, scratched or have smudges and stuff, try cleaning it..And yeah, have you tried putting other games in it or movies?, if others work then the problem is in the disc, if nothing works, even your other games or movies then the problem might be is within your ps3..

  4. I'd recommend you bring it in for repair.

  5. I had the same problem. Mine overheated. Has your fan been running on high alot? I got error codes like ( 8001050F and 80010514 ) when it would not load games. When it finally did load a game, it would freeze up in no time. I read that you can reset the blu ray player by holding the eject button for about 30 seconds. I tried it and it was little help. I had to send mine in to sony. Call them and they will send a coffin for your ps3 so you can ship it back to them. If you have the warranty it will be free. If it is older than one year it will cost you about $150. Call them a couple of times because they forgot about me and it took twelve days to get my box.

By the way I have an 80gb system. Purchased it in September. It was very well ventilated, not in a cabinet or on carpet. I believe the exhaust fan is weak and does not get the hot air far enough away from the intake air. When I get it back I am going to put a small computer fan near the back of it to help get rid of the hot air, just a tip.
