PS3 in 2009 and its games?

Question

Is it safe to buy a ps3 in early 2009?I want to buy a PS3 in 2009 because I want to make sure that no problems will occur in PS3 and PS3 games or whatsoever even if its offline or online.Majority of the people are saying that their ps3 is ok but I really want to make sure that the the ps3 and its games especially gta 4 are immune from freezes,black screens,errors etc.

Any suggestions?(curse words will not be tolerated)

PS3 has been out for about 2-3 years if there was a problem it would have happened before.

ahahaha. the ps3 was tested on temperatures from -17 to 50 degrees celsius and ir still worked (108 hours on 50 degrees celsius!). the ps3 is kick-****.

it is safe so you should do that but in the meantime you should buy some games for it so that way when you get it you'll have something to play instead of like one game

Don't worry their is nothing to be concern as you can get a 2 year warranty and if games glitch or the system corrupts, it doesnt matter as the PS3 is a next Gen console as you can update its system firmware to fix problems

ofcourse it will be safe.. dont worry about glitches and stuff. gta 4 have updates so it fixes them and bugs as well as other games too.. Ps3 have 0.2% failure rate so, no worries about breaking down and if you are, then get warranty extension from a store like 1 year+.. lol.. goodluck.
